Last year at Repechage you might remember a story of great sportsmanship.  Sophie V placed in the 7 years but her friend Sophie B didn’t. Sophie V straight away ran over and hugged her friend to console her.  It really was a beautiful moment in physie.

Last weekend at zone they were both hugging again, but this time with tears of joy. Sophie B placed 3rd and Sophie V placed 4th. The left hand photo is 2013, the centre photo is all three Sophie’s from the same club holding hands waiting for the announcement and the right hand photo is two great friends hugging because they are off to Nationals together.

How wonderful to see girls so young being so supportive of each other with such great club spirit and such commendable sportsmanship.
