PHYSIE girls get asked to perform at all kinds of things! We even had 800 girls in the Opening Ceremony of the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games. Learning Physie improves confidence, develops a sense of achievement and helps to build self-esteem. It also gives members the opportunity to perform at some of the most important cultural and community events on the national calendar.
Club members from all over Australia have the opportunity to participate in these events and Bjelke-Petersen actively encourages members to get involved and have some fun.
Bjelke-Petersen Physical Culture has been proud to have members participate in many community events such as:
- NRL Grand-final
- NSW Centenary of Federation Parade
- Australia Day Celebrations
- Darling Harbour Christmas Pageant
- Gymnastics Australia’s 75th Anniversary Gala
- Sydney Christmas Parade
- World Masters’ Games
- Beijing Pre-Olympic Cultural Exchange
