As promised here’s some more photos and some video clips from Junior Nationals yesterday. Today was a day of rest and recovery for some and a day of travelling home for others. There’s no doubt yesterday was HOT and we want to thank each and every one of the 100 helpers and teachers who worked tirelessly backstage, keeping their cool, despite the heat.
There were several highlights of the day: the BJPop was new and fun for the girls in the finale (thanks must go to Alicia, Kate, Sara and Stephanie), the amazing and imaginative performances by Figtree and Mt Ousley senior girls (choreographed by Emma Sadd and Nadina Bampton) and last but not least the competitors themselves who spontaneously clapped the finalists as they entered the Hall of Legends for their photographs at the end of the day.
No doubt physie teachers everywhere are proud of all their girls and are quietly breathing a sigh of relief that the final big comp of the year is over. As the rain falls outside and the temperature drops, yesterday seems like a long time ago but I’m sure the memories will live on and stories will emerge as the days go by…
