They may be more than 400 km away from each other but the physie clubs of Penrith and Condobolin are sister clubs.  This relationship has been flourishing for many years now – the two clubs even performed together as far back as 2008 at the Penrith Mayoral Musicale. “Last weekend was another happy reunion of our clubs with an amazing weekend of physie” says Penrith teacher Karen.

Condobolin’s teacher Louise and 23 of her girls arrived on Friday night and joined Penrith on Saturday for a workshop filled with Stretching, Marching, Syllabus, Physie Technique and Games.  The younger girls then mixed with the 14-1st year senior girls to choreograph dance endings.

Saturday night was a combined family disco, where all the mums and a few dads and brothers came along for a great night of dancing and fun.  Everyone went home exhausted but very much looking forward to the  Nepean zone fun day the following day…   see tomorrow’s blog.
