When she’s all made up and dressed up for her physical culture classes and competitions with the Figtree Physical Culture Club, you would never guess Tahlia Dole is one of the fastest young road cyclists in Australia.

Not only is the 14 year old flexible, but she’s also fast and the petite blonde from Wollongong manages to balance her love for physie with her passion for cycling, along with her high school studies
In fact, she credits the combination of movements designed to increase strength, fitness and flexibility as helping to keep her body in top shape for competitive cycling.
Known at her Illawarra Cycle Club as a girl who has never given up, even through the years she was hanging off the back of the main bunch but always a finisher, Tahlia is now being rewarded for her patience, hard work and never say die attitude.

She is pictured here on her gold medal ride at the NSW Junior Time Trial Championships in Wagga Wagga.
Tahlia is one of 16 riders who make up Team NSW for the event.
