3rd Sideways Lateral Bend This is a full lateral bend, at astride, with one knee bent. Ensure your knee is pushed over your toe. Usually taken from the yard position, lateral over the bent leg until bottom hand touches the floor and the top hand points to the ceiling. Arms form a vertical line, through the shoulders, from fingertip to fingertip. The bottom arm is behind the bent leg. Hips and shoulders face the front. Engage your core and keep your head in line with your body.
