3rd Sideways Lateral Bend
- This is a full lateral bend, at astride, with one knee bent.
- Ensure your knee is pushed over your toe.
- Usually taken from the yard position, lateral over the bent leg until bottom hand touches the floor and the top hand points to the ceiling.
- Arms form a vertical line, through the shoulders, from fingertip to fingertip.
- The bottom arm is behind the bent leg.
- Hips and shoulders face the front.
- Engage your core and keep your head in line with your body.
