Something wonderful happens when you put pen to paper and write down your goals. They become tangible.
The SMART goals approach will help you to develop a clear idea of what you want to achieve in 2017 and what your plan of action will be!
S = Specific
M = Measurable
M = Measurable
A = Attainable
R = Relevant
T = Timely
1- Specific – What is your goal?
2- Measurable – How will you know when it’s accomplished?
3- Attainable- Is your goal realistic and within reach?
4- Relevant – Why do you want to achieve this goal?
5- Timely- What is the time frame and plan?
Here’s an example from Georgia.
S = My goal for 2017 is to be able to do a great front kick.
M = I’m going to ask my teacher to let me know how I’m going with that.
A = I know this goal is attainable because I’m already flexible, I just need more control and accuracy with my kick.
R = This front kick is a regular part of my syllabus so it’s relevant for me.
T = I intend to practice for 3 minutes each day for 4 weeks, watching myself in the mirror to make sure my hips stay still and my supporting knee stays straight.
Turn your dreams into goals and then, into reality!
