- Keep your supporting leg strong and controlled.
- Engage your core to help maintain stability.
- Lift the working leg with control — avoid kicking it into position.
- Keep your supporting foot grounded and steady.
- Focus on keeping your hips square and level.
- Keep your head lifted and eyes focused on a spot ahead.
- Keep your shoulders relaxed — avoid lifting or tensing them.
