Prop On Side

  • Lie on one side, legs together and toes pointed.
  • Ensure that your feet don’t sickle!
  • Take the weight on your forearm (of the underneath arm).
  • Place the hand of the top arm on the floor.
  • Hands shoulder width apart.
  • Fingers pointing forward (unless the syllabus says otherwise).
  • Forearms should be parallel.
  • Lift your chest away from the floor as much as possible.
  • Head upright
  • Ensure that your toes are in line with your body (create a straight line from head to toe).
