Crossing Step
- Lift one leg forward with knee bent so that your knee is level with your hip.
- Thigh is horizontal – parallel to the floor.
- Shin is vertical – parallel to the walls.
- Point your toe towards the floor.
- Ensure your supporting knee is straight.
- The foot you are standing on should be turned out.
- Be careful not to move your body! Your hips need to stay level and not lift when raising the leg.
- Stand tall and keep your core switched on.
- Breathe! This will help your balance.
