The Physie Christmas Concert has to be one of the highlights of a physie girl’s year. Physie isn’t just dancing – it’s so much more… it’s a sport, it’s a discipline and it’s an artform you can spend your whole life perfecting – but for little girls one of the best things in life is to dress up and dance on stage and that’s what The Physie Concert is all about. Some of my strongest physie childhood memories are from physie concerts – a Hawaiian grass skirt, the African jungle dance, The Candyman with ‘the big girls’ and the ubiquitous “March Past” where the whole club gets involved and wears their medals. Happy times and wonderful memories – it’s great to see that The Physie Concert is still alive and well.
