At the recent competition held in the Central West, seniors from around the zone took part in a tradition that has been celebrated for several years. This year, girls in the 15/1st year section from Parkes, Wagga and Condobolin took part in the display and had a special surprise for the audience and their teachers.
Dianne Eshman who was the head of the zone and Parkes head associate for thirty years passed away unexpectedly just before the zone competition two years ago.
Dianne was well known for her love of anything and everything pink so they seniors decided they would wear pink and dance in her honour.
There was a lot of leotard borrowing, swapping and a bit of luck that helped this to come together on the day. This gesture by the girls was very special, and was the perfect way to bring a fantastic weekend to a close.
