Recently Lisa Curry visited Tenterfield as a part of her “One Life One Chance” road trip (partly organised by Jo Cowin, one of The Granite Belt’s physie mums). There was a seminar about health and fitness and two training sessions which many members from both Stanthorpe and Tenterfield branches attended.
Teacher, Kimberley, discussed physie with Lisa and how great it is for girls and women of all ages to be involved in a sport which allows expression, promotes coordination and has such fantastic health benefits.
Elsewhere around the country, Lakeview club have been skating in the holidays, Terrigal Woodport have been having holiday fun with craft, Kings Langley had a movie night and Strathpine have enjoyed a holiday physie workshop.
