Prop on Elbows
- This position is often overlooked and is wrongly used as a time to relax the body or slouch into the floor. It is important the body is lifted!

- Place elbows on floor with fingers pointing forward toward the body – fingers together
- Elbows should be under the shoulders
- Ensure body is lifted out of hips and off the floor – be careful not to arch the back and over puff the chest. Try to create a straight line with body not an arch.
- Forearms and wrists flat on floor
- Ensure feet are together and toes pointed
- Knees locked
- Pull shoulders back
- Lift chin to extend the line of the body. Don’t drop the head back.
