LATERAL BENDS
Lateral bends can be challenging for all ages. It is important to remember that the shape the body makes is much more important than the distance the body is bending.
Remember to:
- Lift your posture out of your hips and tighten your core before starting your lateral bend
- As you bend keep hips still and don’t push to one side
- Be careful to twist your body or let it drop forward
- Ensure head is level on shoulders
