These amazing photographs are the brainchild of professional photographer and passionate Physie girl, Heidi Boardman.
Inspired by the artistic beauty, striking aesthetic and physical grace of the movement and dance in Physie, she invited some friends to a photo shoot to capture the essence of the Physie art form. And here is the result. A series of stunning photographs of physie girls in various locations.
She says, “this project is very dear to me. It gave me the opportunity to portray the sport I love in a contemporary way that I feel reflects where BJP physie is today.”
We’ll be adding to the Performing Art Gallery over the coming months and tomorrow we are launching our new Physie Calendar featuring our current Grand Champion, Phoebe Collins, photographed by Heidi as part of the Performing Art Gallery series.
We can’t thank Heidi enough for her wonderful vision and her enormous generosity in sharing these photos with us and the whole physie family.
