Teressa was introduced to physie in 2014 when her daughter started Physie at Muswellbrook. In 2019, she decided to join Physie herself because she saw how it helped build confidence in her girls as well as the friendships and fun they had each week in class and at the competition events. She was looking for somewhere that she could be herself and not think about the daily grind and the stresses of life. And she found it with Physie! Now she shares Physie with her three daughters Isabel, Katie and Sophie.
Over the years Teressa’s passion has grown strong for our sport and in 2024 she wants to share her love of physie with the girls and ladies of her town. The Merriwa community has been very supportive and she’s had a wonderful response to Physical Culture Classes opening in Merriwa. To kick off the fun they’ve held 2 open days and a workshop for the School Holiday Care program. Each event has seen many girls and ladies walk away with a better understanding of what Physie actually is.
Teressa is looking forward to growing the sport in 2024 and to the fun times ahead…
