All the physie clubs of the Nepean Valley Zone got together in the school holidays to take part in a whole day workshop. An astounding 190 girls came along from Kings Langley, Nepean, Rouse Hill, St Clair, Toongabbie, Penrith and their sister club Condobolin (see yesterday’s blog) to participate.
The girls had hip hop and contemporary dance classes with Nadina Bampton as well as stretch and strength class, physie, games and art & craft just for fun.
The day finished off with the girls performing the dances for the parents who loved it just as much as the girls did. The teachers loved watching their girls having fun, making new friends and of course having the chance to catch up with one another and chat about everything physie.
13 year old Jessikah said “I loved how everyone was making new friends and having a fun time. Everyone came together through physie because they love it and I can’t wait until next year’s!!!!”
Bianca, 12, said “My favourite part was learning the cool dances and the art was awesome. I also enjoyed seeing Lauren, my friend I met at zone last year from Toongabbie and making some new friends. I loved everything about it and I can’t just choose one thing!”
