Yesterday was a celebration of sisterhood when 96 teams comprising 8 ladies took to the floor at the State Sport Centre. The teams competition is a contest of skill, stamina and performance where teamwork and technique are rewarded in equal measure.
Ladies practice all year with their team-mates to vie for the ultimate title of national team champions. The teams competing represented 47 clubs from QLD, NSW, ACT and VIC and the prizes were taken out by 29 different clubs. Congratulations to all of the ladies that competed, especially all those mums who took the day to do something for themselves. Good on you!
