BJP mourns the sad passing of our Associate, Renee Morgan, on Friday after losing her battle with brain cancer. Renee started the Brisbane North club from scratch just 13 years ago and built it into a big and very successful club over the years. The highlight of her teaching career was winning a national senior teams’ title with her girls, the announcement coming after they had already boarded their plane home to Brisbane, but the victory not any less sweet. A beautiful and elegant Physie performer herself, she loved competing in teams with her friends at Sunnybank. Renee was devoted to her students and her club, giving them her all for as long as she could and she will be sadly missed. May she rest in peace and be remembered always.
