We got the disappointing news yesterday that Everybody Dance Now has been cancelled by Channel 10 after the first 4 episodes failed to get enough ratings to keep advertisers happy. It seems that more Australians are interested in cooking and crime than in dancing – we can’t understand it…!
Sadly the BJP physie girls were due to appear in episode 7 – so now we won’t get to see that amazing routine on national TV. The good news is that the physie girls quickly went to number 1 on the EDN website voting – and stayed there. Let’s hope we can persuade them to perform the routine for the physie world somewhere else…
BJP wants to extend a huge thanks to Emma Sadd for getting the girls through the audition process to be accepted into the program and for her fantastic choreography and hard work. We’d also like to thank Analyse, Ashleigh, Carly, Emily, Emma, Jennifer, Karina, Kelly, Lauren F, Lauren S, Melissa, Phoebe, Rachel and Sonia for dropping everything, including family and work, and for their dedication to promoting physie. We hope there will be another opportunity in the future.
