Welcome to the New Associates E-Learning Course. This program has been designed to support new teachers as they begin their Physie teaching journey as well as existing teachers in their professional development. We aim to provide a strong foundation in teaching, safety, technique and competition knowledge.
Throughout the course, you will be guided through 9 short modules including an introduction and overview of Physie, how to confidently teach a class and your member protection and duty of care responsibilities. You will also build essential skills in technique and marching, learn how to manage challenges through effective communication and gain a clear understanding of BJP rules.
As the course progresses, you will be introduced to how to call at competitions and the fundamentals of judging, helping you feel prepared and informed at BJP Physie competitions. The course concludes with a certificate of completion and a feedback questionnaire, allowing you to reflect on your learning and provide valuable input to help us continuously improve our onboarding processes.

Requirements
- Complete the first “Introduction and Overview” module before receiving your new Associate information and attending Associate classes.
- All remaining modules must be completed within a 12-month period and are required for progression from Junior Associate to Associate.
