That’s how Mr Allen, long-time director of BJP, described the 125 Year Spectacular. He enjoyed every minute of the show and was moved to laughter and tears by the brilliant portrayal by every zone of BJP’s rich 125 year history.

We’re lost for words to describe how proud we are of our members and teachers for all their hard work, from the zone leaders who spent the last 12 months planning their segments to the cast who danced their hearts out to the mums and dads who fundraised, cooked, sewed, cleaned, transported, marshalled, taxi-serviced, marked out floors and much, much more.

It was a night for the performers to shine on stage while the dedicated backstage crew and audience kit teams worked tirelessly for almost 48 hours straight to make it all happen.  It was a night of joy to celebrate everything that is great about physie.  It was a night for the whole physie community to stand united in their love for this great sport.

BJP has enjoyed a lot of media attention around the 125^th anniversary from interviews on ABC News and Disney Channel to a double page spread in the Daily Telegraph to dozens of articles in local papers and online news services, even globally.  How terrific to see the media catching on to all that physie offers to girls and women of all ages around the country.

And now, even better news! The commemorative 125 Year Spectacular DVD is in post-production and will be ready by the end of July.  Footage has been shot from six different cameras plus there will be extra video packages to enjoy.  You can place your orders through your club by 15^th July.  DVDs will be $50 including GST and postage is free when you order through your club.  A second round of orders will be available a bit later on for anyone who’s not currently a member of a club – details to come.
