The Junior National Finals event was a great day of physie and a wonderful display of the girls’ strength and dance ability.  The 9 winners of the day came from Balgowlah, Burleigh Waters, Menai-Illawong, Mermaid Beach, Redlands and Tenterfield.  Check out this youtube clip http://youtu.be/6bbA-vrXBR8 of the dance combo…

The Junior Nationals is a feat of logistics with over 600 competitors and 120 helpers backstage.  All our helpers are volunteers and we cannot thank them enough for giving up their time to look after all the competitors – THANK YOU – we wouldn’t have an event without you.  We’d also like to thank the staff at the Sports Centre at Sydney Olympic Park who help the day run smoothly and to Adrian from Grundig Photography for taking such great shots of all the girls.  Here’s a few for now and, in time, we will update our Hall of Champions gallery for 2011.  Look forward to seeing you all again next year!
