Yes physie’s a great sport – but Roselyn from Sydney, aged 10, is an even better sport! At a recent comp Roselyn did not achieve her usual success and felt the natural disappointment that comes when your result is not in line with your expectation.
Roselyn’s immediate reaction was to find the girls who did win the prizes from another club and congratulate them! She gave them all a hug and wished them good luck as they moved on to the next level of comp, showing maturity beyond her years and demonstrating what good sportsmanship is all about.
Congratulations Roselyn – being a gracious winner is easy but being gracious in defeat is really something worth rewarding. So we’re naming you Physie’s “Good Sport of the Year” and we wish you every success in your future physie career.
