This may not look like it, but it’s a photo of a physie girl. Renee does physie at Nepean club and is also training hard for aerial ski jumping. She spends half the year training interstate and overseas but when she’s home she fits in as many physie classes as she possibly can.
Her love of physie has never wavered. When overseas she films herself and sends videos back for her teachers to correct.
Physie actually helps Renee with this incredibly difficult sport. She says, “physie helps me keep a perfect body shape when I’m jumping. It’s given me a strong core and flexibility which are essential for my sport.” No wonder her coaches love the fact that she is still doing physie!
