Last weekend 140 BJP Associates from NSW, QLD and VIC gathered in Sydney for our biennial Teachers’ Conference, postponed twice due to Covid but finally going ahead! We had an awesome weekend, jam-packed with learning and camaraderie, including African dancing, drumming, contemporary dance, movement, balance, elements of dance, self-care, brain science, foam rolling, social media marketing and laughing yoga (still laughing…). Our keynote speaker was the incredibly inspiring and motivating Pat Farmer – the only person to have run from the north pole to the south pole, raising money and awareness for the Red Cross. Our “Night at the Oscars” dinner was perhaps the biggest highlight, with the fancy dress theme being embraced to the fullest, as was the murder mystery and hours of (more) dancing. It was a great reward for our amazing teachers who have kept Physie alive during the last 2 difficult years and we look forward to the next one in 2024…
