They say that all good things come to those who wait and it’s true that having patience makes your life easier.  Sometimes physie girls get disheartened and even give up on their goals because they aren’t getting the results they want in the time frame that they set for themselves.  Whether the goal is to get down in the splits or to make it to nationals, it it’s not happening fast enough they quit trying.
But here’s the thing… Everything is HARD before it gets EASY.  All new skills have to be practiced.  You have to be willing to take an honest look at what you’re doing and find out how you can do it better.  Ask your teacher!  (You know what? She probably already told you what to work on)  Practice well – it won’t help to keep practicing the wrong way.  Practice consistently. Practice every day at home.  Practice may not make you perfect but it can turn HARD into EASY.
