Experienced and Influential – Woman of the Year is ….. Jenny Murray!

This award seeks to recognise a woman in the Tamworth community who shares her talent, area of expertise or general life experience. She volunteers with a dedication to educate or inspire others sharing from her life experience.

Jenny Murray is a passionate Physie teacher of 20 years and president of the Tamworth club. For Jenny, Physie isn’t  just about dancing or competitions, it is about empowering girls with the skills to become confident and strong women.

Jenny’s commitment is making sure women and girls of all ages have an opportunity to be fit and healthy and have a place where they feel encouraged, supported and valued.

As a teacher and volunteer, Jenny is a wonderful ambassador of Physical Culture and is a strong community leader.

Jenny is a role model promoting positive body image and teaches her students to embrace fitness as a way of life and to focus on physical ability rather than appearance.

Congratulations Jenny on such a wonderful achievement!
