Coffs Coast Physie Club were contacted to perform for the View Club Mid North Coast at their Zone Day to assist the organisation in raising money for the Smith Family. Their theme was the Olympics and the organisers thought our sport would represent this theme well.
Six of the Coffs Coast Physie Fairies performed their pre-school syllabus with ribbons tied in their hair displaying the 5 colours of the Olympic rings. The audience loved watching the little girls dance and of course, many had done physie as young girls!
The Physie Fairies enjoyed the experience just as much as the audience. Grace said “We were special because everyone clapped a lot.”  Chloe (who also does the 5/6 year class with her older sister and now considers herself a big girl, not a fairy) said ” The girls were very good because I was there to help them be so good.”

Music is one of those things that we all have inside of us and once it begins the residents feet start tapping and the smiles come on to their faces as the children perform their routines. It’s wonderful that our love for Physie can be used to bring other people happiness.
