Have you ever wondered what a Physie Champion gets up to in the off season? What does a physie girl do when she doesn’t have her weekly class to attend?!

Here is a glimpse of what Jessica Hardt from Sunnybank has been doing in her time off over the holiday period.

“Over the Physie break I love going to the beach, especially with Physie friends as we always take a fun Physie photo. I also enjoy the Christmas festivities and family catch ups over summer.

When I’m not doinjess1g Physie, something else that also takes up a lot of my time are my studies. I’m currently studying a bachelor of exercise and nutrition sciences, to become a Dietician in the future. I have a great passion for sports dietetics and learning how to effectively fuel your body with food, which is something I can also link to my love for Physie.

To stay fit and healthy over the break I enjoy doing pilates and stretch as much as possible. I also find it fun to revisit previous years Physie syllabus, to stay in a bit of a Physie mode and also because I miss doing Physie too much over the break! I find it’s important to maintain fitness and flexibility levels over the summer break, in order to not lose any hard work from the previous year and to continue building on performance for when Physie returns.

I love Physie!”

We hope that you’re all as excited about getting back to physie as Jessica is!
