Melissa Spies started physie at age 3 and says that it’s provided her with lifelong skills she will always treasure – like having the confidence to take on anything she wants to achieve. She says, “Thank you BJP Physie for empowering me for life!” This year Melissa started her own physie club at Moreton Bay in Queensland. It’s been lots of hard work but lots of fun as well.
“It’s been a dream come true for me and my team Jeanette, Tracie and assistant teacher, Nicole. I don’t think we had any idea just how inspiring it would be to introduce a passion you love to a group of young girls and watch their love for the sport grow bigger than you could ever have imagined, right before your very eyes! It has been a wonderful journey, watching our students progress from the day they walked through the door on the first day to now, becoming confident, strong and empowered Physie girls.
Our parents are so supportive of the club and BJP Physie. Here’s what they say… “There’s nothing like physie!” “We love the family-friendly atmosphere of the club” and “We love Physie for the structure of the class, what the girls are learning and the encouragement given in each and every lesson”.
Thank you once again to Physie for providing hopeful young dance teachers like me the opportunity to do what they love and teach Physie! Here’s some photos of my girls.” Melissa
