Carramar Physie club is a Physie club like no other! Since 1993 when it was founded, Carramar has mostly consisted of (and been supported by) girls from Carramar Public School. Today, 21 years later, this is still the case. Recently, an extraordinary discovery was made on an ordinary Tuesday evening at Carramar physie classes…
Physie girls are said to be strong, adaptable and confident. All of these qualities are characteristics of a positive leader. It was found that in the last 15 consecutive years, at last one Carramar Physie girl has held a position on the Carramar Public School SRC (School Representative Council). Whether it be School Captain, Vice Captain or one of the Prefects, Physie girls can be found on the Honour Roll at the school for the last 15 years!
This astonishing achievement proves that not only does Physie teach girls the importance of teamwork and self-discipline, it also encourages and nurtures the growth and development of wonderful leaders!
