My life as a Physie girl in 5 words is… meaningful, empowering, rewarding, memorable and exciting.
Preparing to perform on the 2025 video was a lot of hard work but SO much fun! I enjoyed the challenge of learning the syllabus quickly and I loved having the support of my classmates in the lead up. It was very special to share this experience with my students since taking on the role of an associate in the past few years. Having the encouragement and support of other associates during associate classes was also greatly appreciated.
My favourite thing about the video shoot was getting to see and wear some of the new active wear. Having my incredible Physie teacher Emma beside me was a definite highlight, as I would not be the person I am without her.
My favourite routine to perform for the video was the dance! It is a new style of dance compared to previous years and I was excited to perform it on the video. I can’t wait to perform it throughout the year!
My favourite quote is ‘No one else is you and that is your power’. This can relate so much to Physie. We all learn the same syllabus, yet it’s about bringing our own sparkle from within to enhance our performances.
When I’m not doing Physie I’m raising my children, working as a Registered Nurse, going for walks, spending time with friends and going to the gym to gain stamina and strength.
I’ll always be grateful for my close circle of family and friends. They continually support and encourage me to work hard to achieve my goals and tobalance my life as a mum, a nurse and a Physie teacher. I am forever grateful for those who allow me to do this.
My Physie teacher always says:
‘Are you a man or a mouse?!’
‘Do it the Hannahroonie way!’
‘Just be you.’
