How cute are these 6 year old girls, holding hands and quietly waiting to go on the floor at the Wauchope interclub competition last weekend? VERY cute and well behaved (like all good physie girls are taught to be) – a credit to their parents and teachers.
Clubs came together from Armidale, Bonny Hills, Camden Haven, Manning Valley, Port City, Taree Great Lakes and Terrigal Woodport for the Wauchope interclub weekend. Competitors and audience braved the temperatures, which got down to 1.4C overnight!! but fortunately up to 17.0C during the day.
Teacher Annette said “It was a beautiful summer’s weekend at Wauchope in the middle of winter! Everyone enjoyed a great weekend of amazing physie for so early in the year.
One of our dads makes balloon animals so he made up physie dolls in each of the competing club’s colours, which they tookhome with them at the end of the weekend. It was a great weekend, with new friendships were made and great sportsmanship was on display.”
