Let’s start by stretching the left leg with the knee forward, allowing the right heel to come off the floor.
Gently push the left inside thigh towards the floor and hold for 30 seconds. It’s okay to bounce gently in this position but don’t overstretch as that will lead to injury.
Now turn the left leg out so that the knee is on top. Feel how this stretches different muscles in your leg. Hold this stretch fro 30 seconds and/or bounce gently then change legs.
In this position, you can also flex the foot so that the toes point to the ceiling and feel the stretch change again. Always breathe and relax while stretching and never stretch through pain.
