Fencing was once a popular sport taught by BJP instructors. This photo is taken at the Sydney BJP gymnasium during a fencing demonstration in the 1930s. Tiste McAllister, a former (and formidable!) Associate Teacher can be seen on the extreme right of the photo, wearing ballet shoes.
