The Bjelke-Petersen family that founded Physical Culture in Australia sailed from Denmark aboard the RMS Doric (Royal Mail Ship) in September 1891. They had two second-class cabins and paid 189 pounds for the passage of 7 family members. Christian started the business in the following year in Hobart.
