What do you like to do in the physie break?
During the physie break I like to go the beach and catch up with my friends and family. If I can I will try and go on a quick little holiday even if it just up the Coast for a few days. In the break I also like to take a few yoga classes to stay stretched and it’s a great way to relax.
What’s your favourite hobby or something that people might not know about you?
I love to travel and I am very lucky that with my work I have the opportunity to travel Statewide, Interstate & also Overseas, which I like to do with any opportunity that is presented to me. I love to be outdoors at the beach or taking my dog for a walk around the lake. When I’m not at work or physie I always enjoy watching a good Romcom movie, which is also a good time to do some stretching.
How do you keep fit, healthy and flexible over the break so that you’re ready for the new year?
There are a few exercises that I like to do over the break to make sure I’m ready for the next year of physie. I like to do 4-5 minutes of skipping each day and a 45 minute walk or run around the lake at least once a week. I also stretch my feet whilst sitting at my desk whilst at work. I find resistance stretching after a nice warm shower at the end the end of the day is a great way to increase flexibility. It also helps you to relax after a long day. Over the summer time I like to add some fruit to my water bottle each day just to add some flavour, my favourite fruits to add are oranges and strawberries. I like to keep stretching all through the break to help towards your
Physie dreams for the next year.
