Betty Graham’s Physie resume is one of the most impressive that you’ll ever see!
As a young girl she started Physie as a student in 1939 and 77 years later she still loves it.
Betty was invited by K.W Allen to start teaching in 1952, and now with well over 60 years of teaching experience, it’s safe to say she has seen a lot! There is no doubt that she has passed on her passion for Physie and teaching to thousands of girls and women along the way.
Betty has choreographed many of our favourite routines since 1959 as a member of the BJP Choreography team. She also choreographed many routines in the late 60’s for the Ballarat Squad. Her items were always new and exciting and still spoken about today.
Betty has taught Associate classes all over Australia and has always been excited to pass on her knowledge and ideas as she mentored teachers.
It was certainly time to celebrate Betty and her contribution to Physie and to acknowledge all of the wonderful things that she has done for our sport and the women that she has taught and empowered.
Betty Graham – Thank you.
