Liverpool Physical Culture Club are celebrating their 40 year anniversary and they plan on doing it in style!
Like many physie clubs, Liverpool has built its foundation on the back of hard work from its dedicated members. Robyn Phillips has taught over 2,600 girls and women during her 40 years teaching at Liverpool Physie. Maureen Martin and Brenda Moore have been a part of the Liverpool Physie Club since day one and they still enjoy their physie just as much as the day they started in 1977.
In recognition of this milestone, the club will be taking part in a variety of celebrations throughout the year. There will be a party for the juniors, a dinner/reunion to celebrate the history of the club and a concert to finish off the year.
The ladies and seniors just recently spent a weekend together in beautiful Gerringong. They enjoyed the scenery, relaxed a little and of course there was some Physie talk!
If you have been a member of the Liverpool Physical Culture Club and would like to help them celebrate their 40th year, please contact Robyn at robyndot50@hotmail.com
