Leg Raise on Side

  • Lie on side propped on elbow and hand
  • Keep bottom elbow under shoulder and lift body – don’t slouch
  • Lift top leg so that toes point to the ceiling
  • Keep both knees straight
  • Both legs need to be turned out – top leg especially
  • Bottom leg needs to be flat on the floor and pointed
  • Ensure shoulders are pulled back and that neck is lengthened
