School holidays are the perfect time to rest, recharge, and have fun, but they’re also a great opportunity to keep working on your Physie skills! Whether you want to stay active, get creative, or spend time with friends, here are some fun and productive activities to keep you busy over the break.
1️⃣ Practice Your Physie at Home
Just because classes are on break doesn’t mean you have to stop moving!
✅ Go over your syllabus to keep routines fresh in your mind.
✅ Work on posture, arm positions, and flexibility in front of a mirror.
✅ Film yourself to check technique and track your progress.
Tip: Put on your favorite Physie playlist and have a mini practice session!
2️⃣ Work on Strength & Flexibility
Use the break to build core strength, balance, and flexibility—all essential for Physie!
✅ Hold a plank for 30-60 seconds to strengthen your core.
✅ Do squats and calf raises for stronger legs.
✅ Stretch daily to improve flexibility for kicks and splits.
Challenge: Can you improve your high kicks before Physie starts back?
3️⃣ Get creative and make something Physie-related!
✅ Design a mood board with your Physie goals for the year.
✅ Create a outfit sketch for your dream performance wear.
✅ Make a scrapbook with photos from Physie competitions and classes.
4️⃣ Catch up with your Physie friends for some fun!
✅ Why not record a fun Physie TikTok or Instagram Reel?
✅ Practice routines together and give each other feedback.
✅ Watch old Physie performances for inspiration.
5️⃣ Set New Goals for the Year Ahead
Holidays are a great time to reflect on your progress and set new goals.
✅ Write down what you want to achieve in Physie this year—maybe it’s posture, a higher kick, or a strong performance at competitions!
✅ Break big goals into small, achievable steps to stay motivated.
✅ Start working through your Physie Girl or Physie Woman book.
6️⃣ Stay Active with Other Fun Activities
Keep moving and stay fit while having fun!
✅ Go for a swim to improve endurance.
✅ Ride your bike for leg strength and balance.
✅ Try roller skating for fun coordination practice (be careful!).
7️⃣ Rest & Recharge
Taking a break is just as important as training. Make sure to:
✅ Get plenty of rest and sleep.
✅ Read your Physie Woman or Physie Girl book.
✅ Take time to relax so you come back to Physie refreshed and ready to go!
The school break is the perfect time to have fun, stay active, and keep improving. Try out these activities and enjoy your time off while still staying connected to your Physie goals!
