My life as a Physie girl in 5 words is… Fulfilling, dedicated, blessed, memorable, joyful.
Preparing to perform on the 2025 video was such a fun journey from beginning to end. I always love the learning process and seeing it all come together. This year was extra special – and definitely a little busier – because I got to share the experience with my daughter, Lucy. It was such a special experience and one I’m so grateful for. Being back at ABC Studios, where I filmed my first video as a child, felt like a full-circle moment. To be back there, sharing the excitement with Lucy, was a dream come true. I’m still pinching myself!
My favourite routines to perform for the video were exercises and dance because I love the strength and control needed for exercises and the dance is so stylish and fun.
When I’m not doing Physie I’m a busy mum to my 4 kids and work as a PE primary teacher. In the Physie off-season, I love camping by the beach with my family and nights out with friends.
I’ll always be grateful for my mum enrolling me in Physie as a very shy 3 year old. It’s been a constant source of fitness, expression and enjoyment in my life. It’s given me incredible experiences and lasting friendships. I seriously couldn’t imagine my life without Physie.
My favourite quote is “Dancing with the feet is one thing, but dancing with the heart is another.”
My Physie teacher always says “Sallyyyyy…” and I know exactly what she means. No more words are needed!
I am inspired by my teacher Kim. She is amazing, and I love working with her to try to perfect my routines. She is an incredible teacher – always motivating and encouraging me to be the best that I can be.
