My life as a Physie girl in 5 words is… joyful, supportive, challenging, heart-warming and inclusive.
Preparing to perform on the 2025 video was… exciting, a privilege and a little bit of a shock! I never imagined this would have been a possibility for me. It certainly warmed my heart to have so much belief, love and support from the Physie world.
My favourite thing about the video shoot… was the feeling that I may be able to help and inspire women – young and old – even if the Beginner-Intermediate ladies only take one thing from my performance that helps or inspires them for their own performance.
I love the whole syllabus this year. I think it may be the best choreography yet. But if I had to choose my favourite to perform on the video it would be….. the Cardio. When I first watched Sally I thought WOW – the strength, the precision and power. It reminded me how lucky we are to be women and we should always feel empowered.
When I’m not doing Physie… I like to spend a time in the gym, building muscle and strength to support my joints into my 50s. I also love reformer pilates and grabbing breakfast with friends – Coffee is a must!
I’ll always be grateful for… my health, my kindness and the ability to move.
My Physie teacher always says… “Believe in yourself and get rid of Rhonda!” (That little nagging voice in your head!)
I am inspired by… my lifelong friends and my family. They always have my back. There is no greater support crew.
My favourite quote is… “Be yourself; everyone else is already taken”.
