We are only given one body, and it is our job to take care of it!
Stretching is certainly an integral part of a Physie girls training but should never be done without preparing the body first with a cardiovascular warm-up. This warm-up can be as simple as jogging, walking or jumping rope. A small circuit combining these activities can be fun and help to pass the time quickly!
The aim of doing this is to increase your heart rate and increase the blood flow to your muscles. Not only does a proper warm-up decrease the chance of an injury, it prepares you mentally and allows you to get the most out of your Physie class.
Taking care of your body takes some effort and knowledge, but having a body that continues to function optimally is well worth it in the long run.
Try the Cardio Warm Up below before you stretch this week!!!
