Mission Statement

Physical Culture aims to improve the health of Australian girls and women by promoting physical fitness and mental wellbeing.

Our motto is MENS SANA IN CORPORE SANO – “a healthy mind in a healthy body”.

The physical benefits of regular exercise are well-known but there are also psychological benefits. Self esteem and social skills are enhanced by gaining confidence at an activity and becoming involved in team sport as well as a feeling of belonging.

Mission StatementOur organisation aims to serve the community, supporting the many clubs who belong to our association. We keep costs to our members and their teachers as low as possible so that physical culture is within the financial reach of every Australian family.

We provide a fun, safe, non-elitist, inexpensive, team-based sport, encouraging girls and women from all communities to participate.
